Boy Meets Girl…

...girl has pentax spotmatic in her bag every day at art school. Boy falls helplessly in love from day one. 8 years later and over a million photographs taken side-by-side, we decided it was our turn to get on the other side of the camera and get married.

Our first full wedding season started in 2005, but it wasn't until we got married, finished college, and rebranded as Sargeant Photography in 2008 that everything really took off for us.

Its an amazing job we have ... we're extremely lucky to get up everyday and get paid to do what we love, work together to document the amazing places and people that surround us.

Its our mission is to capture the natural emotion, energy and beauty of your wedding, as it unfolds. BFA graduates with a full-time boutique studio (limiting our bookings to 30-35 weddings per year to focus all of our energy), our work is a fresh blend of photojournalism and fashion. It’s this uniquely artistic approach that brings out the vibrant individuality of each bride and groom. And it’s our passion for people and connection that transforms the little, unscripted moments of your wedding into enduring memories. Spontaneity reigns king ... we embrace the unscripted, fast-moving, random moments in the day. From the notes you exchange in the morning professing the love that got you to that day, to the last call round of shots with friends ... we want to capture it all.

The end result is a collection of beautiful photos that not only documents your day - but tells your story.
